▼ SCANNING PERFORMANCE & RECOVERY
These settings control how long scans run and how the system recovers if a scan stops.
Time budget per request (seconds)

How long the scanner runs per batch request. Default: 10 seconds. Lower values are safer on strict hosting environments. Higher values may complete scans faster but increase the risk of timeouts.
Recommended values
• Strict hosting environments: 6–8 seconds
• Standard sites: 8–10 seconds
• Large sites or optimized environments: 10–12 seconds
If scans fail or time out, lower this value or increase the timeout below.

How long to wait before resetting a stuck scan. If a scan stops responding, the system will automatically release the lock so a new scan can start. Default: 300 seconds (5 minutes).

▼ TITLE RESOLUTION
Asset titles are improved automatically after each scan using site content (media names, link text, alt text). The setting below controls whether external URLs are also resolved via HTTP during cron.
